While listening to Denis Bouchard speak about his passion. You quickly realize you are in the presence of a man with a true love and expertise of his craft.
Bouchard draws inspiration for his art from The Human Spirit, his own and the people in his life. He paints "beyond the painting" striving to paint nature and the human spirit from the inside out. It's this ability that allows his paintings to have a three dimensional quality to them.
Denis Bouchard has studied at the Ontario College of Art, George Brown College in Toronto and the Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico.
He has been successfully exhibiting in galleries across Canada and in Merida as well as San Miguel de Allende Mexico for the past 12 years. He generously donates paintings to many charities, including The Hospital for Sick Children, Casey House and The Message in a Bottle campaign.
Denis R. A. Bouchard was born in Timmins Ontario. He now divides his time between studios in Toronto Canada and Merida Mexico.
